The Wallpaper - Kouun no Rihatsushi by Nagato Saichi

Hi.

This time I did very simple wallpaper using some easy methods and chibi characters from Kouun no Rihatsushi by Nagato Saichi. This is the result:

1280x800
Lately I've been using various shades of purple very often. Even my LJ site is in these colours. (^_~) I like these colours and I finally have a chance to use them.

These two cute guys caught my attention the first time I red the manga, but at that time I didn't even know, how to use PhotoShop. Now I can make a wallpaper even if it's still very simple, so I'm pretty happy I can post this today. (^_^) I'm going to practice more, so we'll see if I can improve. ^^"

See you next time (^_^)/~~

The Wallpaper - Katekyo! by Moegi Yuu

Hi.

I'm posting here today again because I've just finished a wallpaper I didn't even plan to do. I was just playing with the design of a background I wanted to use in the future, but suddenly an idea came to my mind to use picture that at first glance didn't suit the BG at all. It's cute image, while the BG is quite dark, but somehow IMO it worked out well:

1280x800
The picture is again from Katekyo! by Moegi Yuu. Her works have one of my favourite art styles. It's clean and very detailed, not messy and easy to follow.

I'm using this wallpaper now. I guess it suits me because it's dark and I like dark images on my desktop.

I'm still quite shocked that this one looks good. Originally I planned to do cute, light wallpaper for Katekyo! since the manga is cute itself. But now I think the result is good the way it is. I'm still planning to do another wallpaper with this image, but this dark one is nice too.

This is all I have for now. See you next time ^^

The Colouring - Katekyo! by Moegi Yuu + 2 other images

Hi.

Yesterday I finished colouring this little panel:

This is Kaede-san from volume 2 of Katekyo! by Moegi Yuu. I love his expression on this image. ( °٢° ) I use it as an icon on LJ site, because he is so damn sexy here! =^_^= Well, he is sexy in the whole manga, in every volume of it. The manga itself is great too, funny, nice plot, great art and cute characters. Highly recommended.

Since I wanted to use my blog to keep track of my artwork I need to place here also my earlier works I completely forgot to post.

This one I coloured back in July, at the end of the month. This is Natsume from Koisuru Cupid by Akira Norikazu, cute little ghost from the first story. I know he doesn't look like one here, but he is, just sometimes he can be a little annoying, hence the devil appearance. (^_~)

This little guy is from Goshujinsama to Wanko by Sakira, cute but smut collection of oneshots. This is also the first picture I finished that has some shading in it. It still is simple, but I at least tried to make it less flat. I'm going to practice shading some more.

This is it for today. See you ^^

The Wallpapers - Ijiwaru na Kuchibiru by Sakurai Ryou

Hello.

Just as I sad I did wallpapers in black this time. (^_~) As an additional colour I initially chose red, but later I tried a differen option, and this is how they turned out:

You can choose between warm and cold colour. The main image used in them is hot anyway (^_~) This time the resolution is 1280x1024. It fits better the main picture, I didn't want to crop it for the wallpaper. The source of the image is the collection of oneshots Ijiwaru na Kuchibiru by Sakurai Ryou, to be exact it's the afterword. Nice read with men looking really good - it has great art. (°٢°)

I had a lot of fun doing wallpapers this way. Maybe I'll try it again? I'll decide when I choose the next image.

See you ^^

The Wallpapers - Junjou Romantica by Nakamura Shungiku

Hi.

Yesterday I made four new wallpapers. This time I used images from the manga and anime Junjou Romantica by Nakamura Shungiku. It's seriously my favourite anime series ever! <33333333 It's the best! I like all the couples in this series.

Anyhow, these are the wallpapers (resolution: 1280x800):

The three of them with the same background are the result of my problem with choosing images. First I wanted to use only pictures from the anime, but I couldn't find the right one for Usagi-san and Misaki. Eh, I thought it would be so easy since there are so many good scenes, but in the end I had a hard time with the choice. (>.<) In the end I did two wallpapers using anime images (1st and 3rd), one with only manga colour inserts (4th) and one with the mix of both - anime and manga images (2nd). And I seriously planned to do only one wallpaper, but since I did four I decided to post them all. (^_~)

The 3rd and 4th wallpaper are a little bit darker, even though I wanted to leave them light. I'm weak against dark tones. ^^" Maybe it's time for doing something in black this time, with addition of contrasting colours. This is something I have in mind, but I haven't decided on the main image yet. We'll see.

See you next time ^^

The Wallpapers - Kibun wa Joujou! and Himitsu no Aizu

Hello.

Today I'm posting two new wallpapers I did today. They are in completely different style - I tried to make them look cute, that's why I use chibi characters that I seriously love. They are the cutest. (>//<)

1280x800
This one is made with the characters from the cover of manga "Kibun wa Joujou!" by Tennouji Mio.

1280x800
I used chibi guys from the cover of "Himitsu no Aizu" by Fuyuno Ikuya to make this one.

Both manga have beautiful art and quite interesting stories, but the second one haven't been completely scanlated yet.

This is all I have to share for today. See you next time ^^

The Wallpaper - Yami ni Tooboe by Naono Bohra

Hello.

Today I'm posting something a little bit deferent. It was the first time I did a wallpaper and I decided to share it with everyone. Here it is:

1280x800
The image is from the cover of the manga: "Yami ni Tooboe, Mune ni Toge" by Naono Bohra published in 2006. In 2008 they changed the cover, but I like the first one better. Hence the wallpaper.

I know it's very simple. It's probably because I don't have much of a experience with PhotoShop yet. =>.<= But I still wanted to share it. We'll see whether I improve with time or not. (^_~)

See you ^^

The Second Part of My Poor Colouring

Hello everyone.

As I sad today I'm posting the second part of the colouring I did some time ago.

July 2011

Ueda Kiyo - Koi no Iro
Kanbe Akira - I.D.

Kojima Katsura - Seito Kaichousama no Pet
Kanbe Akira - Keep Out

Na Yeri - U Don't Know Me
Akira Norikazu - Trigger

These are my favourite panels from each manga. To tell you the truth I don't exactly like the first title: Koi no Iro, but this one image is definitely great. (^_~)

This is the last part of the images I coloured. From now on I'll post everything right after finishing.

See you ^^

My Firts Artwork done in June 2011

Hello everyone.

Today I'm posting the pictures I coloured in June. I've decided to post here every image I do to keep track of them. This way it's easier to see whether I improve my skills. ^^" So these are the pictures I did:

June 2011

First three pictures show Tatsumi Souichi and Morinaga Tetsuhiro from Koisuru Boukun written by Takanaga Hinako (to be exact they are from special colouring book of this manga) and the last one is from afterword of manga Square na Kankei written by Asou Kai.

The first image is actually the firs I 'd ever coloured. I liked the image so much that I decided to put some colours on it. To do so I had to find some tutorials. Without them I wasn't able to achieve the level I wanted. It's still not perfect, but believe me, it's way better than the first draft. (>.<) But I like the way it eventually looks. (^_^)

Well, this is it for today. Next time I'll post a few pictures I coloured in July.

 See you ^^
